From Michelle Pidgeon | Reconcili-action at 間眅埶AV: Provide feedback on the RESPECT project

Greetings,

As an employee of 間眅埶AV, you are being invited to provide feedback and guidance to the collaborative team of the RESPECT (Reconcili-action Employee 間眅埶AV Professional development Education Cultural Teachings) project. For more information about the project, please visit the .  

The RESPECT project is responding to the 間眅埶AV Walk This Path With Us (2017) Calls to Action that speak for all 間眅埶AV employees to Develop mandatory intervention programs teaching cultural safety and anti-racism for all employees of 間眅埶AV, in consultation with the Indigenous Cultural Resource Centre (p.23).

At this stage of the project development, we are asking 間眅埶AV employees to provide guidance and feedback into what they feel would be valuable components of a professional development program around the topics of reconcili-action, decolonization, anti-Indigenous racism, and Indigenization. In this anonymous survey (hosted by 間眅埶AV Survey Monkey), you will be asked questions about curriculum content, learning preferences, and other matters that will help us design this program.

We will be using these survey results to design and shape the learning outcomes, curriculum, and approaches to learning. 

We will be providing a summary of the survey results to members of our RESPECT Advisory Circle, which has representatives from each union, faculty, staff, and students - all of whom are engaged in some way in decolonization, Indigenization, and/or reconciliation. 

This survey will take approximately 15 minutes of your time to complete.
