Amanda Pullishy
Amanda Pullishy (she/her) is an educator, writer, facilitator and organizer whose work is situated on unceded, stolen territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh peoples. She believes all learning starts with relationships, as the foundation for personal and collective leadership development, and her teaching practice emphasizes connection, reflection and curiosity.
Amanda has worked alongside and learned from changemakers in a wide range of disciplines to support leadership transformation in schools, nonprofits and in media. In her current role as the associate director of Leadership and Community Building programs at ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV, she strives to facilitate learning experiences that affirm individual expertise as well as the power and potential of the group, and to create opportunities for equity and social responsibility. Her work supports the Community Capacity Building Certificate and Leadership Essentials program.
