Shafraaz Kaba
Shafraaz Kaba is a registered architect and principal with ASK for a Better World* – a collaborative studio that aims to facilitate more net zero energy, carbon neutral and regenerative buildings and initiatives.
Shafraaz is well known for his commitment to sustainable strategies and integrated, community-based, collaborative design through team facilitation and public engagement.
Shafraaz has been the project architect on several LEED® Certified projects and is a member of the Alberta Association of Architects and a fellow of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada. An avid proponent of sustainable design and architecture, Shafraaz facilitated the development of the PriMED Mosaic Centre in Edmonton (LEED® Platinum Certified), which is the first net zero commercial building in Alberta.
