TWS520
The Practice of Writing
The first course in The Writer’s Studio challenges you to think deeply about your writing practice. How will you cultivate a creative process that allows you to meet your writing goals? What practical and intuitive considerations are involved? What role will community play? As you work through these questions, you’ll learn techniques to overcome blocks, work with ideas, and bring your writing closer to its point of intention. By the course’s end, you’ll have developed and articulated an individualized writing practice to support and sustain you as you write your manuscript.
