Job Development and Diverse Groups

Examine the principles of job development, vocational rehabilitation, and placement monitoring. Concepts include normalization, inclusion, job accommodation, return-to-work hierarchy, and duty to accommodate. You'll learn how to identify the vocational needs of diverse groups, including youth, immigrants, and people with disabilities, and study options for meeting these needs. You'll also get hands-on practice developing jobs, researching and negotiating employment contracts, and writing worksite analysis and task analysis reports.
