Workplace Health, Safety and Wellness
Gain a comprehensive overview of strategic organizational health, safety, wellness and disability management practices.
In this course, you'll learn how to implement equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives to create a safe workplace culture. You'll develop the skills to mitigate risk and organizational cost, as well as learn tools and techniques to address mental health disability claims and create a plan for a workplace culture of wellness.
Core topics include: risk mitigation, workplace critical incident reporting and investigating, and disability management and accommodation best practices.
Note: If you're new to the field of human resources, you should take Human Resources Management in Canada (CHRM200) before taking this course.

- Prepare to spend 7–10 hours per week on coursework

- Plan to access the course at least once every few days to keep up with your work and class discussions

To earn the certificate, complete all courses with a minimum average grade of C.
