Explore the future of transportation at free speaker series
The ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV City Program is thrilled to partner with TransLink Tomorrow to present the next Future of Mobility Speaker Series event. On July 24, check out Mobility as a Service: One app to plan, book and pay for all transportation at the Segal Graduate School of Business (500 Granville Street, Vancouver).
Mobility as a Service (MaaS), a concept that began in Finland, leverages technology and shared transportation modes—such as cars, bikes and scooters—to provide mobility services. It allows you to use a single app to plan, book and pay for all your transport services, regardless of mode.
The Future of Mobility event will feature two main speakers: transportation writer and mobility consultant David Zipper and Catherine Kargas, VP of MARCON and founding director of the Transportation Evolution Institute. Plus, they'll be joined in a panel discussion by Sandra Phillips, CEO and founder of movmi, and Hendrik Wolff, associate professor of economics at ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and admission is free. Space is limited, so be sure to register in advance.
