This is an amazing opportunity for individuals who would like to work with children, youth, and adults with a wide range of abilities and needs. ES Therapists In- Training may also have the opportunity to work together with a physiotherapist and/or a speech language pathologist to deliver integrated physio/speech therapy sessions to our clients.
ES is a dynamic workplace with many opportunities and areas to explore. ES Therapists In- Training will gain experience working with a wide population range, from preschool age children, neurodivergent individuals of all ages, individuals with physical impairments, and potentially competitive gymnastics athletes (if the applicant has an applicable fitness background). Extending beyond the in-training position, there is the opportunity to become a certified ES therapist as a possible career option in the future. There may also be opportunities to aid in research with ES, deliver the ES program in an aquatic setting, or collaborate with the physiotherapist and/or the gymnastics strength and conditioning specialist/coordinator in creating, modifying, and coaching programs for our competitive athletes.
